Job Summary:

Maintains existing business with Employee Assistance Program (EAP) clients in assigned region. Conducts presentations and trainings, responds to service requests, problem resolution, and account renewal. Maintains existing business with Employee Assistance Program (EAP) clients in assigned region. Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains relationships with customers, brokers, consultants and other external parties and influential partners. Manages client interactions for optimal experience and problem solves where appropriate.
  • Develops and maintains client-specific strategic actions plans, regularly reviewing client needs. Provides feedback on products and services to provide consultative solutions to stay current with industry trends.
  • Coordinates internal and external resources for renewals and new group on boarding for a successful experience.
  • Delivers and presents activity/utilization reports to ensure awareness of performance and other status.
  • Coordinates New Client Implementation including attending implementation meetings, employee meetings, preparation of communication pieces, and coordination of internal processes with affected departments and outside vendors.
  • Attends client meetings as necessary to perform strategic account reviews, inform groups of pertinent policy, product changes and deliver appropriate reports as needed.
  • Offers consultative services based on group data analysis. Prepares, summarizes, and presents suggestions to clients about possible benefit and product options. Delivers topical trainings upon client request (e.g. drug-free workplace, stress management).
  • Works with manager to identify and present value-added solutions and strategize on client issues.
  • Updates and maintains data as it relates book of business and external contacts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Healthcare related field or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • 3 years of experience as an Account Manager in an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), or related industry.
  •  

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of EAP/counseling services for employer groups.
  • In-depth knowledge of health insurance and EAP products; sales and industry processes including benefit plan design; and related laws/regulations including HIPAA and COBRA.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  • Solid presentation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of topical trainings such as drug free workplace, stress management.
