Note: This temporary assignment requires working onsite in our Brooklyn, Ohio office four days per week, Monday through Thursday.

The temporary Recruiting Coordinator supports the hiring and onboarding process by managing pre-employment screenings, completing new hire documentation, and helping ensure an organized, compliant, and positive candidate experience. This role is ideal for someone who is highly detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable handling confidential information.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and monitor pre-employment background checks and drug screenings for candidates.
• Complete and review new hire paperwork to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
• Conduct and maintain I-9 employment eligibility verification in compliance with company and legal requirements.
• Support onboarding activities and communicate next steps to candidates and new hires.
• Maintain accurate candidate and employee records in recruiting and HR systems.
• Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR team members to support a smooth hiring process.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Identify and resolve documentation issues quickly by following up on missing or incomplete information.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of recruiting, HR, onboarding, or administrative support experience preferred.
• Experience with I-9 processing, pre-employment screenings, or onboarding paperwork is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking or HR systems is a plus.
