Job Summary:

The Program Coordinator provides vital support for daily operations, patient scheduling, and program coordination across specialty areas such as Orthopedic Surgery and Pediatrics. This role blends administrative excellence with patient-centered service, ensuring seamless coordination between patients, providers, and hospital departments.
Primary Duties:
Coordinate patient scheduling, intake, and communication to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and patient satisfaction.
Support surgical scheduling, equipment coordination, and follow-up appointments to maximize OR utilization and minimize delays.
Serve as liaison between physicians, patients, and hospital teams to resolve scheduling or service concerns promptly.
Assist with administrative and financial functions including purchasing, reimbursements, and budget tracking.
Support special events, educational programs, and community outreach initiatives.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and databases; ensure compliance with MedStar and regulatory standards.
Contribute to workflow improvement, policy implementation, and departmental goal achievement.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
Minimum 2 years of medical office or clinical administrative experience required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to multitask and perform under pressure.
Proficient with scheduling and computer systems; strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
This position has a hiring range of
USD $23.65 - USD $42.03 /Hr.
