Our infusion centers are staffed with specially trained nurses who are certified in the administration of chemotherapy, research and BMT combining cutting-edge medical technology with a human touch for the best patient experience. Our skilled physicians and infusion specialists are well-versed in the latest treatments and are equipped with advanced technologies that can ease your symptoms and reduce potential side effects associated with treatment.
We also have a dedicated on-site Oncology Pharmacy.
MedStar Georgetown is part of the MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute, which combines medical expertise, the latest therapies, and research across MedStar Health. The Infusion Center is part of the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, which is the only National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated comprehensive cancer center in the Washington, D.C., region. This partnership means we provide access to cutting-edge clinical trials and the latest breakthroughs in cancer care not available anywhere else in the region.
All of our infusion bays are private.
Schedule:
- Full-time, Four-10hr shifts per week. Day/evening and rotating weekends
Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team.

Qualifications
- ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- If prepared at the associate degree level in nursing, one is required to enroll in a BSN program within 12 months of hire date and completion within 4 years of hire date.
- At least one year of hospital-based, experience required.
- Active DC RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).
This position has a hiring range of
USD $41.78 - USD $63.66 /Hr.
