MedStar Health is looking for a Collaborative Care Supervisor to join our team at MedStar Medical Group!
As a Collaborative Care Supervisor, you will be responsible for Functions as a leading member of the Collaborative Care program assisting in program development and continuous improvement. Provides day-to-day operational supervision of assigned Care Manager staff. Provides clinical supervision to Care Manager staff seeking clinical licensure. Continues to directly support patient care managing a patient caseload as a core member of a collaborative care team that involves the patient's primary care provider, psychiatric consultant, and other mental health providers.
Collaborates with leadership and management to identify opportunities for quality improvement, cost reductions, and streamlining of processes as well as the development of and compliance with program standard operating procedures as well as MedStar Medical Group and MMG Department of Psychiatry policies and procedures as relates to Collaborative Care program.
Provides leadership and support to departmental staff involved in the collection of administrative, financial, and clinical data to ensure the successful implementation of new systems, programs and initiatives. Assists with the management and coordination of patient care services both as supervisor of Care Manager staff as well as practicing Care Manager with patient caseload.

Primary Duties:
· Ensures compliance with department goals, policies, procedures, quality, and safety standards while adhering to governmental and accreditation regulations.
· Leads and manages clinical staff through recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, and supervision to support engagement, retention, and performance, aligning with strategic, clinical, and financial goals.
· Oversees daily operations, including staff scheduling, productivity, patient referrals, and performance management, ensuring adherence to Care Manager standards and departmental objectives.
· Manages a caseload of Collaborative Care patients, tracking progress, documenting treatment recommendations, facilitating referrals, and adjusting treatment plans as needed in consultation with PCPs and psychiatric consultants.
· Conducts patient screenings, provides brief evidence-based interventions, participates in psychiatric consultations, and coordinates mental health care with primary care providers and specialists.
Qualifications:
· Master's degree in psychology, Social Work, Clinical Professional Counseling or related field (required) or
· BSN or LPN with mental health training/certification may be substituted (required)
· Clinical licensure as LICSW, LCSW-C, LCPC or LPC (preferred)
