Description
The incumbent in this position is responsible and accountable for the management and direction of the operational, personnel and financial activities of the HR Client Services Team functions which provide human resource services to MedStar Georgetown University Hospital (MGUH) leaders and associates. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and MGUH philosophy, policies, procedures and standards.
Education
- Bachelor's degree B.A. degree in Personnel Management, Public Business Administration or related field required or
- Master's degree preferred
- 3-4 years 5 years experience inclusive of three years management, three years of union contract negotiation experience and three years employment experience required
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR)-HRCI preferred or
- Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)-HRCI preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Organizational ability to maintain a wide range of recruitment and retention activities.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain good working relations with the MedStar and Hospital Personnel, applicants and the outside community.
