General Summary of Position
Provides overall direction and leadership for all business, administrative and operational functions of assigned MedStar Health Research Institute (MHRI) scientific center/network. Builds upon the collective leadership and leverages the unique strengths of MedStar and Georgetown. Manages all non-clinical associates and looks to continually improve operations and processes. Is responsible for business projections to evaluate performance of the scientific center/network that is balanced with serving investigators with high quality service. Possesses experience in the field with high level leadership skills, thorough understanding of clinical research and sound business acumen.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Master's degree in business, health administration or related field required
Experience
- 5-7 years Effective leadership experience in clinical research in a large and complex organization, required or appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and certifications may be considered.
Licenses and Certifications
- No special certification, registration or licensure required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Computer literacy with MS word, MS excel, MS PowerPoint.
- Strong leadership skills.
This position has a hiring range of $131,497 - $256,630
