General Summary of Position
Position Summary
The HR Business Partner is responsible for the strategic Human Resource activities for a specific client group/s and reports to the HR Director or above. This individual partners with business leaders and serves as a consultant to management. The HRBP assesses and anticipates organizational and people-related needs and develops integrated solutions. The HRBP collaborates with the HR specialized service areas when appropriate (e.g., compensation, organizational effectiveness, talent acquisition, etc.) to deliver optimal solutions as well as ensuring consistent approaches across the entire organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business acumen about the business units' financial position, its mid-range plans, culture, competition, and impact on Human Resources and is skilled at communications with senior levels.

Primary Responsibilities
• Demonstrates strong business acumen and deep understanding of assigned service areas to ensure strategic, high-quality HR service delivery; fosters open, ongoing communication with leaders and HR teams.
• Provides clear, effective verbal and written communication, including presentations tailored to various leadership audiences to enhance understanding and engagement.
• Supports leaders in achieving strategic priorities and People Goals tied to the Annual Operating Plan.
• Participates as an HR subject matter expert in meetings, committees, and task forces; uses HR data and metrics to identify trends and recommend operational improvements.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and regulations; partners with leaders and COEs to manage risk and ensure compliance.
• Delivers strategic HR consultation to director and executive leaders in areas such as workforce planning, associate engagement, talent/succession management, leadership development, and EI&D.
• Provides consistent guidance on HR policies and practices to promote aligned leader behaviors and a consistent associate experience.
• Collaborates with HR leaders and internal partners to develop and implement integrated HR solutions; supports project execution, HR systems training, and promotes a positive, inclusive culture through internal and external involvement.

Minimum Qualifications
Education

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field required
• Equivalency: One year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.

Work Experience

• 5-7 years of professional human resources experience required

Licenses/Certifications
• Professional in Human Resources (PHR)-HRCI preferred
• Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)-HRCI preferred
