About Our Nurse Residency Program
Our Nurse Residency Program is designed to help new graduate nurses make a confident transition into professional nursing practice. With guidance from experienced clinical educators, you will gain the skills, knowledge, and support needed to provide safe, high-quality, and compassionate care.

- Pediatric Rehabilitation
Your Role as a Rehabilitation Nurse
Rehabilitation nurses are essential members of the interdisciplinary care team. You will:
- Support patients with disabilities or chronic illnesses in achieving optimal function and independence.
- Help patients and families adjust to life changes, promoting physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
- Act as a teacher, caregiver, collaborator, and advocate, guiding patients toward long-term recovery goals.
- Contribute to our mission of “adding life to years” through compassionate, expert care.

Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL required)
- If hired with an ADN, must enroll in a BSN program within 12 months and complete within 4 years. Proof of enrollment must be provided.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Washington, D.C. (or eligible)
- Current BLS certification required.
This position has a hiring range of $37.50 - $54.92
