General Summary of Position
Serves as resource technologist and performs routine and specialized assays and provides technical advice and information in one or more of several clinical laboratory scientific specialties to provide data for use in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Analyzes body fluids, cells and products to identify abnormal and critical disorders associated with disease processes. Serves as a knowledge expert and technical consultant in the specialty area(s). This role is PRN, hours and shift availability may vary based on operation needs.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field required or
- Master's degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field required or
- Doctoral degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field required or
- Doctoral degree in Medicine required
Experience
- 1-2 years of progressively more responsible clinical laboratory experience for Bachelor's degree holders. required
- One year of clinical laboratory experience is sufficient for applicants with a M.D degree, or Master's or PhD degree
Licenses and Certifications
- ASCP - American Society of Clinical Pathologist certification required
- The ASCP certification is waived if applicant has a minimum of seven years of experience in a designated specialty, or holds a M.D., Master or PhD degree
This position has a hiring range of $41.98 - $75.62
