General Summary of Position

Status: Per diem (PRN) - Benefits and PTO are not offered
Availability: Mondays and/or Thursdays, varying hours (7:30am-4:30pm)
Location: Harbor Hospital (float to Good Samaritan Hospital one Wednesday per Month)
Language: Spanish and English

Several times each month, interprets English and Spanish for Spanish speaking women who have a gynecology visit and a mammogram. Assists patients with registration, preparation for examination, and escorts patients between departments. Provides directions and simple instructions in customer service related encounters.

Minimum Qualifications
Education

• High School Diploma or GED required

Experience

• Prior work experience not required

Licenses and Certifications

• Qualified Bilingual Staff Level 1 (or other similar certification) required within 1 Year and
• No special registration or licensure required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Speak and read fluently in English and Spanish required.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

This position has a hiring range of $20.17 - $35.04
