MedStar Health is looking for a Team Leader Patient Access to join our team at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital!
As a Team Leader Patient Access, you will assist in supervising admitting and/or registration staff and provides leadership for related activities in assigned area. Performs all functions of patient registrar.

Primary Duties:
Assists in training, orienting, and assigning department staff. Assists in evaluating performance. Makes recommendations for personnel actions. Maintains ongoing communication with staff to review programs, provide feedback, discuss new developments, and exchange information.
Monitors registration practices in assigned area and helps to ensure that unsatisfactory practices are corrected.
Ensures that faulty equipment (computers and related devices) is reported for repair quickly; follows up on outstanding repair orders.
Performs all functions of Patient Access Associate as required.
Stocks and controls department supplies.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
Patient Registration experience.
This position has a hiring range of $20.17 - $33.21
