Overview:

This is a REMOTE position.

 

The Associate Analyst - TDO - provides support of the HR systems processes utilized by Mercy. Serves as technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assists HRS team with ensuring data integrity and testing of system changes. Assists management in identifying improvement opportunities, recommending business process enhancements. Supports HRS upgrades and/or patches and participates in testing of these changes. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

 

Production Support and Customer Service
- Performs support tasks including scheduled intake and recurring activities with focus on service excellence.
- Maintains familiarity with all computer systems used within the department, utilizing as necessary.
- Review and as appropriate process security requests for HR systems.
- Researches and resolves HRS-related issues, providing appropriate information to customers in response to inquiries.
- Fluent in the processes performed by customers in order to respond to questions and assist as needed.
- Evaluate supporting tasks for effectiveness and offer enhancement suggestions, when identified, to management for implementation.
- Supports and maintains implementation of new processes/systems.
- Develop and/or update procedures, guidelines and documentation for HR system users.

System Maintenance
- Assist in the review, testing, and implementation of HR system upgrades or patches.
- Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate process changes.
- Documents testing processes and results.

Project Work/Other Duties as Assigned


Qualifications:

  • Experience: One to three years HRIS experience, with special focus in HR/Payroll/Benefits system administration and support.
  • Required Education: HS diploma or GED.
  • Other: 
    - Ability to follow written procedures/direction.
    - General understanding of a variety of operating systems.
    - Working knowledge of MS Excel and HR/Payroll processing and Timekeeper system, preferably Lawson and Kronos; MS Access knowledge helpful.
    - Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
