Find your calling at Mercy! The Child Counselor is primarily responsible for addressing the emotional and mental needs of Casa de Misericordia children and adolescent clients. Position Details: Minimum Required Qualifications Education: Masters degree in Counseling Psychology with current licensure or currently pursuing license in the state of Texas. Licensure: Masters degree in Counseling Psychology with current licensure or currently pursuing license in the state of Texas. Experience: One to two years experience in a center for victims of family violence or similar setting. Certification/Registration: Other Skills and Knowledge: Bilingual in English and Spanish is a must. Knowledgeable about development issues and cultural sensitivities. Ability to work extended hours as needed. Ability to work with and preserve confidential information. Basic computer skills.
