Overview:
The Nurse Educator serves to support orientation, competency programs, in-service education, continuing education, academic partnerships, career development and role transition at the unit level for caregivers. The Educator is over the Operating Room, PACU, GI Lab, and Cath Lab.
- Demonstrates clinical knowledge related to evidence-based practice with the credibility to positively influence the delivery of patient care.
- Proven ability to organize and multitask to meet project deadlines.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of audiovisual equipment is an advantage.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
- Required Education: BSN or enrolled within 6 months of hire.
- Preferred Education: MSN
- Certifications: BLS through the American Heart Association
