The recruiter in the human resources department provides sourcing, interviews, recruitment, job offers, coordination of new hire paperwork, maintain databases and act as a liaison between hiring managers and candidates. Recruiters interpret compensation, benefits, job descriptions, and position requirements to applicants. Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies, procedures, strategies and planning. Recruiters attend recruitment events on- and off-campus, representing Mercy. Is able to work independently, exhibit a professional appearance, make decisions and support all team members. Assists Department Directors with co-worker issues and policy questions in the absence of the HR Director. Assists co-workers with any and all HR-related questions. Position Details:

Mercy is seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team supporting nursing and clinical hiring across Oklahoma. We're looking for someone who understands the healthcare recruiting landscape, enjoys building strong relationships with leaders and candidates, and is passionate about connecting caregivers to meaningful careers.

This hybrid role is based in the Oklahoma City area.

What You'll Do

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for nursing, allied health, and other clinical positions
• Partner closely with hiring leaders to develop effective recruitment strategies and workforce plans
• Source, screen, interview, and guide candidates through the hiring process
• Extend offers and partner with compensation throughout the hiring process
• Build and maintain pipelines of qualified healthcare talent
• Ensure a positive candidate experience from initial outreach through onboarding
• Represent Mercy at career fairs, hiring events, schools, and community networking opportunities
• Develop relationships with nursing programs, colleges, universities, and other talent sources
• Provide guidance to leaders regarding recruitment trends, market conditions, and hiring best practices
• Maintain compliance with employment laws, recruitment policies, and hiring procedures

​What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience
• Healthcare recruitment experience strongly preferred
• Experience recruiting for nursing, allied health, or other clinical positions preferred
• Strong relationship-building and collabrative skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruitment technology
• Ability to analyze recruiting data and make recommendations based on trends and best practices
