Description

Find your calling at Mercy! Under the direction of the clinical manager, performs tasks and activities related to patient care to an assigned group of patients. Provide care for patients in accordance with age-specific needs; provide care in accordance with any identifiable cultural diversity needs (such as religions, lifestyles, beliefs, physical capabilities, and cultures); provide care for patients by assuring effective pain interventions as allowed by their work certification; report and assist any patient that presents with evidence of abuse and/or neglect; and supports the mission of Mercy. Coworkers are expected to abide by Mercy Hospital safety and infection control policies to maintain a safe environment for patients and co-workers. Position Details:

Qualifications:

Education

High school diploma or GED, preferred

Licensure: Valid driver's license

Certifications

Certified Nursing Assistant and/or completion of the Mercy-approved Patient Care Tech Program. CPR certification required but can be obtained after hire

Experience

Experience in a homecare or nursing facility, preferred
