Overview:
Faculty instructors at Southeast Health College of Nursing and Health Sciences are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom and lab; courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as, face-to-face, on-line, hybrid and/or blended formats. In addition, faculty are responsible for student evaluation, advising pre-program students, active participation in committees, and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction. This position teaches Anatomy-Physiology and Chemistry. Consideration will be made if the successful candidate can also teach Microbiology. This is a non-tenured track position.
** This position is a Temporary- 9 month position**
Qualifications:
- Required Education: Master's degree in Biology, Chemistry or Biochemistry and or Master's degree plus 18 semester hours of graduate credit in the specific disciplines of chemistry,biology and/or biochemistry required.
- Other: Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching preferred. Access to personal technology, home computer with appropriate ability to teach online required.
- Shift is Days, Evenings, online
