Overview:
Under the direct supervision of the Mammography Supervisor and Senior Mammogapher, performs professional mammography, education and other women's services provided throughout the Breast Imaging department.
Qualifications:
- Education:
Graduate of an accredited Radiology program.
Prefer Mammography education of 40 hours mammography training but will train the right candidate.
- Licensure: ARRT registry within 6 months of hire and Mammography registry will taken at one year after training completion if not Mammography Certified.
- Experience: Two years experience preferred in Radiology and Mammography but will train the right candidate
- Certifications: ARRT Certification required or registry eligible with 6 months of hire.
- Mammography registry taken after one year of completed training if not already Mammography Certified.
- Mammography certification required within certain timeframe if certified technologist hired without mammography experience. BLS required.
- Other: Computer literate. Good communication skills. Work in fast pace environment. Work as a team.
