Overview
Complement departmental leader in the day-to-day operations and business management. Ensures operational excellence within designated departments through processes and procedures that effectively and efficiently support the achievement of organizational goals. In conjunction with departmental leader, responsible for the overall management of performance surrounding organization initiatives: Physician Satisfaction; Co-Worker Satisfaction; Patient Satisfaction; Quality; and Business Performance. This role will work to specify, collect, and present the key performance data and analysis for scope of service, advancing performance in all areas. This role will be vital in the way in which Mercy continuously measures, assesses, and improves performance in clinical, operational, and financial transactions. Has a thorough understanding of innovative business practices, to introduce new processes and workflows throughout each service line within scope. Performs related duties as assigned.Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in business or related health care field or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
Licensure: None.
Experience: 2 years of healthcare experience.
Certification/Registration: None.
Other: Strong knowledge of computer systems required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Communicates with others in a kind, courteous and professional manner. Demonstrates the ability to evaluate and compile financial reports to support business decisions, expenditures, and cost-benefit analysis. Strong organizational skillset and reasoning capabilities.
Preferred Education: Master's degree strongly preferred.
