Overview
The Professional Practice Nurse Manager oversees, coordinates, and engages in activities responsible for the successful implementation and ongoing management of the Professional Practice Development Center. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, daily operations, budgeting, human resources management, quality management, marketing, community education, clinical support, and maintaining client relationships. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.Qualifications
Education: Associate Degree in Nursing required Licensure: Current RN license Experience: 3 years of experience in a clinical education and/or nursing leadership. Certifications: Current BLS before assigned to care for patients independently. Other: The applicant must demonstrate a high degree of competency in the use of various computer applications/Microsoft Office products, management, supervisory, leadership, team building and motivational skills. Working knowledge of accrediting and regulatory agencies, such as Joint Commission. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Preferred Education: Bachelor or Master of Nursing preferred Preferred Licensure: Preferred Experience: Preferred Certifications: Preferred Other: Working knowledge of Epic.
