Find your calling at Mercy! Medical Assistants (MA) in the medical office setting supports providers by delivering direct and indirect patient care in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner. The MA may assist with clinical procedures, maintains accurate documentation, and provides administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. The MA functions within their defined scope of practice (based on office type clinic/HOD), under supervision, and in alignment with Mercy's mission and standards of care. Position Details: Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Education Preferred: Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program
Experience Preferred: One year of applicable patient care experience or applicable medical office experience as defined by the clinic New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training

Works well as a member of a team; willing to collaborate with all members of the care team
Excellent written and oral communication skills
