Administrator 


Overview:

 

The Administrator is responsible for the overall management of the hospital and its clinics, assuring both are in compliance with all laws and regulations. The Administrator is responsible for budget goals and providing leadership and direction for the hospital. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values and Mercy Service Standards.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Healthcare or Business.
  • Experience: Seven years of experience in hospital administration with an emphasis on communication, organization and other management skills. Ability to be self-motivated and work with others. Skills in leadership and communication.
  • Other:
    • Understands and practices the Institutional Core Values of Dignity, Justice, Stewardship, Compassionate Service and Excellence.
    • The incumbent is a key member of the management team and plays a key role in the overall qualify of the facilities services with responsibilities for the overall operations of the facility.
    • The incumbent will pull together through planning, problem-solving and joint communications the departments and services of the facility.
    • The incumbent will coordinate the efforts of the medical staff and institutional staff with the Regional VP.
    • The incumbent must possess management expertise and strong human relations skills. Will be responsible for the overall planning, implementation, follow up of management and operational activities of the facility.
    • Must make deductive decisions, provide leadership, and ensure department managers growth. Represents the overall philosophy of the Ministry.
