Reports directly to the POC Lab Supervisor and ultimately to the Executive Director of Laboratory Services for Mercy Hospital St. Louis. Performs related duties as assigned. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science or chemical, physical or biological science.
- Certifications: Certification as a Medical Technologist by ASCP or equivalent. Persons acquiring initial Certification after January 1, 2004, must maintain certification status as required by ASCP.
- Other: Must be comfortable with point of care technology.
- Preferred Experience: Prefer at least 5 years working in the laboratory
