Overview:

 

Under the direct supervision of the lead therapist and the department manager and upon request of the physician, sets up and operates various types of respiratory care equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary disease and or illness.


Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.Succesful completion of program approved by National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Licensure: Licensed with state of practice Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required.
  • Certification/Registration: Registered as a therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
  • Other skills & knowledge:(skills, knowledge, abilities)BLS/CPR through an American Heart Association approved course.
  • PREFERRED
  • Education: 1-3 years technical school completed preferred.
  • Other skills & knowledge:(skills, knowledge, abilities)ACLS Provider through an American Heart Association course.
