Position qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university preferred; Previous experience with a Human Resource Information system (HRIS) preferred. Previous experience in collecting and analyzing data required. Advanced proficiency in use of Microsoft Excel required. Minimum five (5) years previous experience in data management required.
Job purpose:
Facilitates the processes and policies that support various functional areas within Human Resources. Collects and analyzes data from multiple sources, assesses and summarizes collected data for organizational reporting and decision making, and prepares wage and salary data to facilitate compensation and management functions of organization. Performs professional level human resources work requiring understanding of both compensation theory and practice. Carries out responsibilities in several HR functional areas, such as compensation (PAF management), affirmative action, and personnel research. Monitors and manages compliance and reporting requirements with applicable Federal, State, and local laws as well as regulations from other applicable agencies. Compiles and maintains personnel files ensuring their accuracy and completeness. Provides guidance and recommendations for problem resolution to supervisors and individuals.

Knowledge of employment laws and Human Resources practices and procedures.

Working knowledge of Windows based computer applications to include Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Internet access.
Ability to operate standard office equipment including calculator, copy machine, fax and multi-line telephone.
Interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all personnel.
Ability to organize and prioritize workload in a sometimes hectic environment with frequent interruptions.
Effective time management.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Employee is frequently required to walk, sit, stand or kneel and occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop. Must have ability to sit for longer periods of time at a computer. Employee must be able to travel between Mind Springs Health sites. Possible potential for exposure to communicable disease.
