  • Plans, directs, organizes and participates in the operations, service and sales activities when in a branch.  Ensures the operational policies and procedures are implemented, followed and prudent judgment is being utilized. Ensures that the needs of the members are being met.
    1.  Provides back-up support to all areas of the branch as needed, including assisting with opening new accounts, loan processing (including real estate loan applications when MLO status is approved) and funding, teller transactions, Branch Certifications and staff coaching/development. Utilizes tools and technology to profile members for opportunities to effectively cross-sell products and services.
  • Promotes an open, welcoming retail branch environment with high quality personal service to draw members into the branch; enhances cross-sell opportunities through demonstration and promotion of the approved sales model in conjunction with products, services and technology. Anticipates employees' and members' needs and effectively models Mission Fed's established service guidelines.
  • Represents the Branch Network by participating in ABM meetings and task forces, providing input on all applicable business initiatives.
  • When on assignment, ensures that the branch is operating in a safe and effective manner and that employees are trained in procedures relating to branch safety, emergency preparedness and robberies. Additionally, ensures adherence to standard operating procedures in risk control, timeliness, and accuracy in audits and record keeping. May need to complete monthly, quarterly and annual audit certifications, reports and review documentation. Acts as a resource to other branches to assist with exceptions to operating procedures when circumstances warrant and deviation is justified.

 

Here is what we are looking for: 

  • 5 or more years work experience in the financial services industry, including: proactive sales, lending (consumer and real estate), new accounts, member service, operations, and effective cash management.  Proven success in coaching employees for sales, operations and member service.  Two (2) years of supervisory experience is required.
  • A demonstrated ability to decipher/understand the content of a consumer credit report and a fundamental understanding of the lending process including the calculation of debt-to-income ratio, loan to value ratio and underwriting. 
  • Pivot! We need someone with the ability to shift priorities to meet the changing needs of the branch and its members, while providing prompt, professional and accurate assistance to internal and external members.
  • A people person with strong human relations, listening, verbal and written communication, time management, the ability to actively cross-sell products & services, and organizational skills.

We expect to pay between $28.00 - $34.00* per hour for this opportunity.

*Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
