Morada Senior Living is hiring a Business Office Manager for our Skilled Nursing Facility, Morada Temple.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend morning meetings to review necessary admits, discharges and payer changes
  • Prepares and submits necessary documentation for admissions, discharges and ancillary charges.
  • Attend Triple Check meetings to ensure accurate and timely billing of Medicaid, Medicare, and Managed Care Claims
  • Verify financials (insurance and/or benefits) for potential admissions
  • Prepares and enters journal entries and maintains appropriate sub schedules for Balance Sheet accounts.
  • Maintains team member and resident accounting files in accordance with established policies and requirements.
  • Interfaces with residents on billing/collection issues.
  • Oversees preparation and maintenance of resident files, records and reports.
  • Manages Human Resource function for Skilled Nursing. Responsible for ensuring a positive first impression, following the established new hire orientation program.
  • Oversees Team Member paperwork including new hire and Change forms.
  • Manages open positions using the applicant tracking system (ATS) and job postings. 
  • Creates set-up and oversight for Health Center resident's/patient's private accounts and prepares necessary reports to adhere to State, Local and Federal guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year Medicaid, Medicare and Managed Care billing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting
