Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle
Do you have a drive to protect and capture details? As a Fraud Investigator you will be responsible for protecting corporate assets. At NFM, this is accomplished by minimizing accounts receivable losses through preventative measures, detection, investigation and prosecution of fraudulent activities and chargeback's.
Job Duties: A Day in the Life
- Be the Expert: Conduct interviews and prepare written statements regarding internal and external fraud or theft
- Investigate suspected or confirmed fraudulent activity against NFM - work in conjunction with loss prevention and follow apprehension procedures
- Analyze evidence (e.g., surveillance video, transaction receipts, etc.) and prepare investigation report for prosecution
- Perform off-site surveillance on suspected criminals related to and NFM incident or offense - testify in court cases dealing with any legal action brought by NFM
- Work with any and all law enforcement and other government agencies on theft or criminal investigations and provide information gathering on related criminal activity that may affect NFM

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?
- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, related field or equivalent experience
- 3 - 5 years of retail investigations, law enforcement, or related experience
- 1 - 2 years of skip tracing and online investigations experience
- 1 - 2 years of interview and interrogation experience
- Ability to solve complex problems and make sound decisions in high pressure situations.
- Knowledge of federal laws, state statutes and local ordinances pertaining tofraud, cybercrimes, bad checks, repossessions, theft, and skip tracing of individuals.
- Satisfactorily complete NFM Response to Resistance and First Responder training courses training course within ninety (90) days of employment
- Certification in deployment of Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) required within one (1) year of employment and maintain certification standards. (Nebraska and Kansas Only)
- Valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record
- Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs
- Pre-employment screening includes, but isn't limited to, criminal background check
