Primary Purpose

The FP&A Analyst is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing operating expenses. Additionally, the position supports their business partners through business decision-making and ad hoc analysis of financial performance and trends.

 

Principal Duties

  • Prepare and analyze departmental and company operating budgets and forecasts
  • Creates variance analysis reports and financial models for management
  • Build strong working relationships with business partners and develop a deep understanding of the department's role and contribution to the company
  • Responsible for clear and concise communications between business partners and FP&A
  • Understand basic accounting principles

 

Qualifications & Skills

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum Level: Bachelor's Degree
  • Preferred Majors: Accounting, Finance, Business

 

Experience

  • Minimum Level: 1-3 years

 

Technical Skills:

  • SAP/S4
  • SAC
  • MS Excel/Spreadsheets
  • MS Powerpoint/Presentations
  • MS Outlook
  • MS Word/Word Processing

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to analyze data
  • Effective communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
