
Description
At NorthBay Health the Audiologist plans, conducts and interprets audiology evaluation of patients across the neonatal through geriatric age ranges. Audiologists work with patients who may need a lot of time and special attention, as well as those who are mentally and/or physically limited. Autonomous in practice, the Audiologist works collaboratively with Otolaryngology, Speech Therapy and referring providers across all specialties.
The Audiologist determines patients' hearing level and most likely site of damage to auditory system, anticipates degree of impairment resulting from hearing loss and predicts potential benefits of hearing aid used and/or special training.
The Audiologist delivers comprehensive and continuous patient care through the evaluation, treatment and follow-up involving a patient's communication and vestibular disorder(s).

Qualifications
Education:
- Masters or Doctoral Degree in Audiology from an accredited college or university with specialization in Audiology or communication disorders.
Licensure/Certification:
- Current State of California Audiologist License.
- Current AHA or equivalent BLS certification required.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience required
- 10 years' working autonomously preferred

Compensation:
- Hourly range $62.90 - $76.47 ( based on years of experience in role)
