
Description
Performs general radiographic studies, according to established Q.A. criteria. Scans and organizes images, completes required paper work and charges. Responsible for patient safety and well-being during examinations. Assists and instructs patients during examinations. Performs bedside radiography. Assists with clerical duties. Cleans and inspects equipment prior to use. Reports equipment malfunctions.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an AMA approved radiology course.
- Licensure: Possession of current California CRT with Fluoroscopy Permit and ARRT in the disciplines Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT), or California CRT with Fluoroscopy Permit with 15 years of CT Experience Possession of a Venipuncture Permit or documented venipuncture training prior to January 1, 2013, or possession of a Venipuncture Permit with 10 venipunctures after January 1, 2013 and venipunctures completed within 1 month of hire, AHA or equivalent BLS Certification required.
- Experience: Two or more years of experience in general radiology, at least 5-years' experience as a CT Technologist.
- Skills: Some clerical and computer experience. Must demonstrate and maintain current knowledge and skill in providing appropriate care for patients in all age groups: Practices the principles of ALARA

- Compensation: $61 to $74 based on years of experience doing the duties of the role.
