Description

At NorthBay Health, the Social Media Creator oversees and manages all aspects of our social media presence while also coordinating and managing events. This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance our healthcare system's brand awareness, engagement, patient education across various platforms and report on the effectiveness of our social media initiatives. This role will work closely with marketing, communications, talent acquisition, philanthropic foundation, clinical teams, and event stakeholders to ensure all social media and event initiatives align with our organizational goals, values, branding, and industry regulations.



Qualifications

  1. Education: AA or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field or an equivalent (8 years) combination of experience and education.
  2. Experience: 3-5 years of experience managing social media for healthcare systems, medical institutions, or similar industries preferred. Experience in crisis communications and reputation management preferred. Familiarity with social media advertising tools and techniques preferred. Certification in healthcare marketing or social media management preferred
  3. Skills: Strong understanding of HIPAA and healthcare compliance regulations related to digital marketing. Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.). Excellent grammar, writing, communication, and editing skills. Proven ability to think strategically and creatively. Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from data and adjust strategies accordingly. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities in the healthcare sector.
  4. Interpersonal skills: Demonstrates the True North values.   5. Hours: Part time 2-24 hours a week based on business need.. 1-2 days a week in person, based on business need. Partially remote.
  6. Compensation: $28.80 to $35.00 based on years of experience doing the duties of the role.
