At NorthBay Health, the Talent Acquisition Partner, Physician Recruitment reports the Manager, Talent Acquisition and Physician Recruitment and will partner with operations hiring leaders for full service recruitment support for Physicians, Advance Practice Providers (APP's), Allied Health Licensed professionals and other skillsets as needed to support the staffing needs of the organization.
Collaborates with Talent Acquisition Team and Hiring Managers to understand candidate requirements and establishes effective and creative sourcing initiatives. Responsible for fostering and cultivating relationships with operation's managers, key candidates and talent pools for just in time sourcing and strategic long-term pipeline development.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES
Participates in the development of the recruitment strategy for physicians and advanced practitioners and directly implements the strategy.
Partners, communicates, recruitment activities through regular meetings and on-site visits with clinic administrators, human resources, and senior ambulatory management to identify needs and implement the strategy and recruitment plans.
Develops and maintains sourcing and marketing strategies for NorthBay recruitment brand in collaboration with Marketing and HR departments.
Develops and maintains a continuous pipeline of Physicians and APPs.
Establishes appropriate relationships and conducts on-site visits regularly with residency programs and associations in the area.
Advances the online recruitment strategies which may include the NorthBay recruitment webpage, social media, add agencies and more.
Other recruitment strategies include, but are not limited to, managing job postings, attending job fairs, developing relations with community and regional physicians, coordinating and hosting recruitment events. Both on-site and virtual.
Assists in the development of written physician recruitment and retention policies and procedures.
Interfaces with recruiting agencies to monitor quality of candidates and to control expenditures, as needed.
Conducts behavioral-based initial interviews and research with prospective physician candidates to identify most appropriate physicians/AHPs to interview.
Is a resource and provides information regarding NorthBay Health and the community; responds to candidate inquiries.
Coordinates the itinerary of candidate interviews, candidate travel accommodations, and facility and community tours.
Provides on-site support to candidates and hiring teams or leads interviews as needed to ensure an exceptional candidate experience.
Summarizes interview feedback, and forwards completed candidate evaluations to senior leadership for decision.
Obtains appropriate references for candidates and analyzes validity of candidate qualifications, when required.
Monitors deadlines during negotiation process and functions as neutral liaison with candidate to assist in resolution of negotiations, including tracking and documenting receipt of offer to candidate.
Upon receipt of signed offer from candidate notifies Medical Staff Coordinator to forward credentialing application packet to physician.
Facilitates communication with physician and Medical Staff Coordinator to ensure timely completion of credentialing process, and California medical licensures if applicable.
Maintains current Physician Resource Information Guide, and assists candidate with contacts as needed.
Assists in the onboarding process as requested including assistance with relocation and transition.
Ensures that candidates have an exceptional experience, from first contact, throughout the interview process and supports the candidate throughout the onboarding processes.
Subject matter expert in Physician and APP recruitment including sourcing, vetting and candidate experience.
Meet performance standards and goals as assigned, such as sourcing, pipelining, time to fill, conversation rates or as assigned.
As a member of the Talent Acquisition and Human Resource team may assist with other recruitment activities as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor degree in healthcare administration, health related field or business administration is required or a minimum of 8 years of experience in provider recruitment, high volume Sourcing, Healthcare Recruitment may be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
Memberships: Membership in Association of Staff Physician Recruiters (“ASPR”), or other industry relevant associations, preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Recruitment Certification, AIRS Certification preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 5 year(s) of experience in physician, provider or licensed medical professional sourcing and recruitment, high volume growth recruitment in health organization preferred.
Requires data management and business intelligence skills.
Demonstrated high level skill with Boolean searches.
Experience with cold calling, cold emailing, texting and vetting candidates sourced
Experience with applicant tracking systems and CRMs, experience with Oracle preferred.
Experience in Healthcare Business Development preferred
Experience in general recruitment (with physician recruitment being preferred), physician relations, or working with physicians in a program offering experience in coordinating physicians practice.
Must be self-motivated and a self-starter who works well under pressure.
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects
Requires a level of comfort with taking initiative and being accountable for team work and service excellence.
Requires a broad range of experience with recruiting multiple skill sets and job functions

Hours of Work:
Designated FTE mostly during normal operation hours Monday-Friday, 0800-1700.
May be occasionally required to alter work schedule, work weekends or work after hours based on business needs.
Hybrid - candidate must reside in a commutable area to NorthBay campuses
Compensation: $126K - $145K (based on years of experience in Physician/Provider Recruitment)
