Summary:
Assist collections Specialist and Area Manager on delinquent accounts, processing tax payments, verify, process and reconcile financial transactions and mortgage accounts. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all transactions according to established accounting policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
* Arrange for payment of invoices.
* Analyze and monitor delinquent loan accounts and create loan delinquency report; contact Oneida Nation members to collect monies as directed.
* Prepare timely and accurate reports for Central Accounting, and department management.
* Reconcile financial information for and mortgage accounts; enter mortgage data into system, generate reports and distributes to designated personnel.
* Ensure the accuracy of closing paperwork with loan officers.
* Establish and maintain an effective filing and retrieval system of financial documentation.
* Process accurate and timely payroll deduction forms or new bank transfers, escrow adjustments for loans; meet with Oneida Nation loan customers on delinquent accounts.
* Enter purchase order releases, receiving and requisitions in the financial software system.
* Verify financial information is complete, accurate, and in compliance for various finance transactions.
* Prepare and distribute reports to Central Accounting, management, federal and state agencies as needed.
* Participate in cross functional teams and activities to identify process and department improvement opportunities, evaluates alternatives, and implements solutions.
* Assist in implementing and testing upgrades to the financial system and accounting software.
* Maintain professional and technical knowledge by conducting research, attending seminars, educational workshops, classes, and conferences; reviewing professional publications; establishing networks; participating in professional societies; conferring with representatives of contracting agencies and related organizations
* Work with Area Manager to run monthly transaction, escrow account adjustments for taxes and homeowner's insurance.
* Provide payoffs to bank and loan customers.
* Process monthly satisfaction lists to loan officers.

* A valid driver's license or occupational driver's license, reliable transportation and insurance is required. Must obtain a Wisconsin driver's license or occupational driver's license within thirty (30) days of employment if applicant has an out-of-state driver's license. Must be authorized as eligible to operate a Personal and Tribal vehicle under the Oneida Nation's Vehicle Driver Certification and Fleet Management Law prior to actual start date. Must maintain driver's eligibility as a condition of employment.

A Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and/or a 2 step TB Skin Test is required within thirty (30) days of employment.
