SALARY: $15.45/hr. (Negotiable)
After successful completion of the probationary period, employee will receive off probation wage increase.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Receptionist position will mainly perform receptionist duties and operating the phone system for incoming calls received at the Gaming Division. This position is required to execute a courteous and professional demeanor in all business transactions at all times. Continuation of this position is contingent upon funding allocations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the Gaming Division.
- Provide information to customers and employees regarding Casino hours of operation, special events, location etc.
- Ensure courteous, professional, and clear telephone etiquette and paging announcements.
- Utilize radio system paging as needed.
- Transfer caller to voice mail or record messages as necessary.
- Politely greet and welcome internal or external visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel.
- Maintains and monitors electronic conference /meeting room schedule and direct individuals as needed.
- May occasionally assist with office correspondence, filing, typing, copying, and scanning.
- High School Diploma, HSED Diploma or GED Certification is required within one (1) year of employment.
PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Frequently sit, handle, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, walk and lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
- Occasionally stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
- Work environment may NOT be smoke, noise, or dust free.
- A Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and/or a 2 step TB Skin Test is required within thirty (30) days of employment.
