- Monitor Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras, fire systems, mechanical alarms and access control to the site.
- Maintain shift log in a professional, efficient, and informative manner.
- Organize, delegate, and enact security duties (unlock/lockup routines, patrols, incidents, etc.)
- Organize, maintain, and issue/receive keys to necessary parties.
- Call elevator technician for service on non-operational elevators and escalators.
- Maintain radio contact with security staff.
- Create incident reports; write incident reports for minor incidents.
- Pass on relevant and necessary information from shift to next dispatch security guard.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid Alberta Security License.
- Dispatch and CCTV experience an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A mature and positive attitude.
- A high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Able to write comprehensive reports.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
