Site Description: 

Atlas Tube in Harrow, ON is a large steel manufacturing facility specializing in hollow structural sections. The site operates heavy machinery, shipping docks, and high-volume production areas, requiring strict safety and access control. Security personnel monitor gates, patrol perimeters, enforce visitor protocols, and ensure compliance with safety standards across a dynamic industrial environment. 

Position: Part-Time Security Guard  
Site: Atlas Tube, 200 Clark St C, Harrow ON 

Hours: Sat 0800-1600/Sun 1100-1700 
Payrate: $18.54/hr. 
Overtime: Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours 
Internal Posting Date: 1/15/2026 
Internal Closing Date: 1/21/2026 
External Closing Date: 1/30/2026 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist visitors, and employees during crisis and contact the necessary emergency services as needed 
• Ensure that the property is safe by ensuring all security measures are functioning properly 
• Enthusiastically conducts proactive patrols (exterior and Interior), and be able to address policy breeches, and note facility concerns. 
• Attend and investigate security alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner as not to create a panic amongst the public 
• Ability to de-escalate a crisis, provide support and liaise with emergency personnel including; police, fire and paramedic resources. 
• Handle Lost & Found items and inquiries 
• Ability to provide first aid and medical response when required to any person 
• Maintain positive and constructive relationships with The Client's staff and external clients by providing timely and accurate support as required. 
• Perform duties and tasks assigned by the Security Leadership team and respond to the directions of the client. 
• Performing other related duties as assigned by the city 

Prerequisites:   

• Valid Security License for the province of Ontario   
• Valid First Aid & CPR Level C from a WSIB approved provider  
• English (oral and written) fluency is a must   
• Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)   
• Applicants who do not possess these certifications can opt into Paladin's Use of Force (UOF)/Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position   
• Legally authorized to work in Canada 

Please be aware: The UOF/MOAB certification is not paid as it is a pre-employment requisite; however, Paladin will cover all the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability
