With approximately 18 million visitors annually, Richmond Centre is one of the region's premier shopping destinations. Our team encounters diverse and dynamic situations daily, requiring them to rely on their training, experience, and teamwork to succeed.
You are a good fit if you have:
- A valid BC Security Worker License
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in security or customer service
- Customer service experience is an asset
- Experience handling aggression or dealing with incidents independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong comprehension and report writing ability
- Good work ethic and professional deportment
- Cheerful and helpful customer service approach
- Physically fit - walking 20k-30k steps per shift is expected
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
- AST certification is an asset

Job Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting regular foot patrols throughout the site
- Handling evictions and interacting with individuals under the influence
- Daily interaction with police, public, clients, and tenants
- Managing situations involving aggressive behavior
- Writing detailed incident reports
- Monitoring CCTV and communicating via radio
- Enforcing property rules and bylaws
- Supporting emergency responders as needed
