Position: | Full-Time Security Guard
Site: | Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital - 403 Picton Main
Hours: | Rotational - Nights Only - 2000-0800
Payrate: | $19.13/hour
Overtime Method: | Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours

Full-Time - Rotational - 2000-0800 (Please see example below:)
- Week 1 - 2000-0800 - 4 Days (Mon-Tues, Fri-Sat)
- Week 2 - 2000-0800 - 3 Days (Sun, Wed-Thurs)
- Note: The schedule remains the same month-to-month
Working as a Security Guard in a Healthcare environment, you will be responsible for completing investigations, and incident reports. You will be expected to perform consistent patrols, interact with the public to provide good customer service, keep the clients and visitors safe, and build rapport with patients, staff, and visitors.
Job Description
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and flexible environment with maintaining the utmost professionalism
- Strong interpersonal skills, flexible, and customer service orientation
- Remain calm and effectively perform in emergency situations
- Able to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures
- Willing to redeploy to Belleville, Trenton and North Hastings
Qualifications
- Compassion, empathy, and a desire to work in a health care environment
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid First Aid & CPR Level C Certificate
- Copy of Immunization Record
- Must have a Valid Driver License
- Must have your own vehicle
- Must be able to commit to 5 days of pre-deployment training
- Must be able to commit to 5 site training shifts at all QHC Hospitals
- Must be or be able to be clean shaven to pass N95 Mask Fit Test
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Must be able to work alone
- Authorized to legally work in Canada
