Site Description: VFS Global embraces technological innovation, including Generative AI to support governments and diplomatic missions worldwide. The company manages non-judgmental and administrative tasks related to applications for visa, passport, and consular services for its governments, increasing productivity and enabling them to focus entirely on the critical task of assessment.
Position: Full-Time Security Guard
Site: VFS Global - 415 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON M5S 3B4 Unit 801
Averaging Agreement: Overtime is Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours OR ESA
Hours: Monday to Friday (0845 - 1645)
Payrate: $18.60/hour
Job Description:
- Enforce the regulations of VFS Global
- Patrol property consistently on a proactive & reactive basis
- Respond to incidents and emergencies
- Complete reports as required by the site and Paladin
- Wayfind and assist students, visitors, and staff whenever possible
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned tasks & duties
- Other tasks as assigned
Prerequisites:
- Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
- Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor)
- English (oral and written) fluency is a must
- French (oral and written) fluency is considered an asset
- Previous experience in security, by-law, and ;parking enforcement - considered an asset
- Must be able to commute for pre-deployment training (3 of 5 training days)

Standard First Aid, CPR Level C
Valid Ontario Security License
Minimum of 1 year security experience
