Position Overview:

The Manager, Analytical Reports and Visualizations will be responsible for overseeing the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) India team, focusing on driving efficiency and providing actionable insights through advanced data visualization and reporting tools. This role will collaborate closely with stakeholders, IT, and data teams to ensure high-quality, timely, and accurate data that supports informed decision-making processes at the operational level. The Manager will also play a key role in managing the backend data infrastructure for the FP&A department, while ensuring Penske's customers receive enhanced service through precise and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Overall Management & Administration of FP&A India Team

• Lead and oversee the FP&A India reporting team, ensuring effective collaboration and efficient reporting processes.

• Provide guidance and support for associates, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge necessary to succeed.

Data Visualization & Reporting

• Implement best practices in data visualization to enhance the decision-making process, drive business insights, and ensure data is actionable for stakeholders at all levels.

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Qlik, PowerBI, Tableau) with the goal to enhance self-service analytics and streamline reporting processes.

• Provide relevant data to drive informed decision-making processes within the organization at the operational level.

• Collaborate with key business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and design customized dashboards and reports tailored to business objectives.

• Support Penske's commitment to customer satisfaction by providing timely and accurate data to internal and external customers.

• Identify and create efficiencies in reporting processes, leading to time savings and improved operational productivity.

• Assist with the management of backend data systems (Oracle DWH, AWS, SQL Server) to ensure optimal functionality and data integrity across the FP&A department.

Collaboration with IT and Data Teams

• Work closely with IT and data teams to ensure the accuracy, quality, and accessibility of data for reporting purposes.

• Ensure seamless integration of data from various sources, such as Oracle DWH, AWS, SQL Server, and others.

• Data Stewardship of all FP&A data sources. Collaboration with other departments on best practices and data definitions.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. MBA or similar advanced degree preferred.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and data visualization, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.

• Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Qlik, PowerBI, and Tableau.

• Proven ability to manage large, complex datasets from diverse sources (e.g., Oracle DWH, AWS, SQL Server).

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in SQL, data manipulation, and data visualization tools (e.g., Qlik, Tableau, PowerBI).

• Familiarity with backend systems, data warehousing, and cloud platforms (Oracle DWH, AWS, etc.).

Leadership & Communication Skills:

• Strong team leadership and management abilities.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and present complex data in an accessible manner.
