Position Summary:
Penske Logistics is looking for a Receiving Clerk to become part of an excellent team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant and outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment. Associates under this job title generally work checking in trailer loads of product received from vendors and/or backhauls. Once the goods are unloaded, the clerk verifies case counts and notes deficiencies against receiving paperwork.

3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday (11:00pm-7:00am)

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend daily pre-shift meetings
- Proceed to assigned area (conveyor office)
- Check product as received on conveyor
- Scan unit into system
- Report damaged/suspicious units to supervisor for disposition
- Work with inventory control to properly identify QC units.
- Complete receiving paperwork in a timely and efficient manner
- Complete warehouse counts
All other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
• 1 year of general office experience required
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
• Read, write, understand and speak English
• Ability to handle multiple tasks independently with precise detail and follow-up reporting.
• Must have knowledge of computers and ability to learn WMS and various internal applications
• Must use handheld computers / scanners
• Operate various material handling equipment, occasionally moving product in warehouse
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.

The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg.
