  • MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years - Unit doesn't accept first time travelers
  • PATIENT POPULATION: Adults to Geriatrics
  • RATIO: 1:4-1/6
  • UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC & SBAR
  • UNIT DESCRIPTION: This position will be hospital float pool staff and will be expected to float throughout the hospital. Nurses in this role will be caring for post surgical, medical, PCU stepdown on IP units and ER as hold patients. Competencies for these services as well as critical drips will be expected. Ratios are 1:4-1:6 depending on patient acuity. Vent management, intensive/critical care and ED experience PREFERRED so RN can be utilized fully as a float pool staff member
  • Must have experience: Cardiac drips, TR band removal and Bipap usage, ACLS BLS
  • ENPC Preferred
    Job Requirements
  • 2 years MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
  • Experience with cardiac drips, TR band removal, and Bipap usage
  • ACLS BLS certification
  • ENPC Preferred
  • Critical drips competencies
  • Vent management skills
  • Prior intensive/critical care and ED experience
  • Ability to work in a float pool across hospital departments
    Schedule Information
  • RTO: MAX 7 days, Block Scheduling Not Guaranteed No RTO 3/29-4/7; 7/4-7/7
  • WEEKENDS: Every Other
  • FLOATING: Within facility and to sister campus if needed
  • Major Holidays work requirements
    Unit Specific Information
  • This position is for hospital float pool staff

    Additional Details
  • Full compliance required to start on time, if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
