  • PCU/MS/ED Hold-Float Pool
  • MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years - Unit doesn't accept first time travelers
  • PATIENT POPULATION: Adults to Geriatrics
  • RATIO: 1:4-1/6
  • UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC & SBAR
  • UNIT DESCRIPTION: This position will be hospital float pool staff and will be expected to float throughout the hospital. Nurses in this role will be caring for post surgical, medical, PCU stepdown on IP units and ER as hold patients. Competencies for these services as well as critical drips will be expected. Ratios are 1:4-1:6 depending on patient acuity. Vent management, intensive/critical care and ED experience PREFERRED so RN can be utilized fully as a float pool staff member
  • Must have experience: Cardiac drips, TR band removal and Bipap usage, ACLS BLS
  • ENPC Preferred

  • SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
  • RTO: MAX 7 days, Block Scheduling Not Guaranteed No RTO 3/29-4/7; 7/4-7/7
  • WEEKENDS: Every Other
  • *Aya Offer* - Candidate will be sent to Clinical Review

    Additional Details
  • If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
