Position Summary PMA is growing its presence in Northern California with several marquee projects and clients. The Senior Construction Project Manager (director level or above), will be part of a dynamic and diverse team. This is a very exciting opportunity for a driven and self-motivated individual to join one of the most qualified project management and project controls consulting firms in the US. The successful candidate will demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the local market opportunities and conditions to grow existing clients and secure future ones. Using local market expertise along with project management and project controls skills, the candidate will focus on prioritizing competing demands to meet client expectations and deliver substantial business growth. Position Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- 10+ years' experience in a blended role of client management and business development leadership positions and construction project management and/or project controls required.
- Leadership experience in projects with Water, Wastewater, K-12, and/or Transportation.
- Demonstrated experience directing client relationships from pursuit through project delivery and expanding services offered.
- Capability to oversee a portfolio of projects and engage with the client's local operations, stakeholders, and partners.
- Ability to solve complex problems related to the management of project costs and schedules.
- Excellent client relationship skills; including client positioning, development of proposals, and client management experience with a proven and successful track record of exceeding client expectations.
- Established SF Bay Area client and partner relationships throughout the local market.
- Understanding of financial metrics and business operations including multipliers, revenue, accounts receivable, and overhead costs.
- Proven sales success of at least $500 thousand annually.
- Ability to actively collaborate and coordinate with other PMA business units to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and grow our business.
- AACE International (CCP, PSP, CEP, EVP), CMAA (CCM), and PMI (PMP, SP, RMP) certifications preferred.
- CA Professional Engineer License preferred or the ability to obtain it within one year.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
$180,000 - $200,000 a year The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $200,000. A hired employee will be placed within this salary range based on a variety of legitimate business reasons, including but not limited to the individual's scope of relevant experience and geographic location.
Additional Requirements Physical: Standing or sitting for long periods; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times and spend extended hours in front of a computer screen. Cognitive: Problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills; computer and software skills; and ability to read and interpret text online or in printed form.
