Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Respiratory Care Manager to lead our Respiratory Therapy department. This full-time leadership role involves supervising and managing activities and personnel for Respiratory Services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based respiratory care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management: Oversee the daily operations of the Respiratory Services department, including personnel management, budgeting, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Program Development: Develop and implement new or expanded programs to enhance respiratory treatments and facilities, staying abreast of the latest advancements in respiratory care.
- Equipment Oversight: Ensure all respiratory equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and repaired to guarantee effective, safe, and quality patient care.
- Clinical Education: Direct clinical education programs to provide employees with a positive and effective learning environment, promoting continuous professional development.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Function as a liaison for the department, coordinating services with other hospital departments to ensure seamless patient care.
Schedule Details: This is a full-time exempt leadership position working primarily Mon - Fri business hours with off-shift duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field.
- Licensure: Valid license to practice Respiratory Therapy in the State of Wisconsin.
- Certification: Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner or Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT).
- Experience: Prior leadership experience in a respiratory care setting is preferred.
