**Job Overview: **
As a Celebrations Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of events and celebrations, including corporate events, community gatherings, and private parties. Your creativity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects will be essential in ensuring that each celebration meets our high standards and exceeds the expectations of our clients.
**Key Responsibilities: **
1. **Event Planning & Coordination: **
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for each celebration.
- Develop event concepts, themes, and timelines.
- Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, catering, decorations, entertainment, and transportation.
2. **Budget Management: **
- Establish and manage event budgets, ensuring costs are kept within projected limits.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to secure the best rates and services.
3. **Timeline & Task Management: **
- Create detailed event timelines and task lists to ensure all elements of the event are executed smoothly.
- Coordinate with team members and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of services.
4. **On-Site Event Management: **
- Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring everything runs according to plan.
- Serve as the point of contact for clients and vendors during the event, addressing any issues that may arise.
5. **Post-Event Evaluation: **
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback from clients and attendees.
- Prepare reports summarizing event performance and guest satisfaction.
6. **Marketing & Promotion: **
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote upcoming events through social media, email campaigns, and community outreach.
- Create promotional materials and manage invitations and RSVPs.
**Qualifications: **
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in event planning/coordinating (2+ years preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
