Our community is looking for an Overnight Concierge/ Security to join our team.
This position is responsible for promoting and guarding the community property and assets against fire, theft, vandalism and illegal entry by unauthorized persons while meeting and/or exceeding service standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts safety and security inspections of all community property to include common areas, resident corridors, parking areas and perimeter access of a large community campus.
- Examines doors, windows and gates to ensure that they are secure.
- Watches for and reports irregularities such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes and security doors left unsecured.
- Investigates and reports all acts of unlawful or safety hazards that would endanger persons or property.
- Investigates all incidents and suspicious occurrences, filing incident report appropriately.
- Responds to all security calls and complaints, taking necessary action and handling on-scene emergency situations until relieved by a Supervisor.
- Secures and unlocks areas and buildings in accordance with policy and community expectation.
- Removes trash
- Responsible for assisting with maintaining a safe, clean and comfortable environment for the residents, guests and team members.
- Routine maintenance duties may include: fixing wall and/or floor coverings; repairing furniture and fixtures; performing basic plumbing work; performing minor electrical repairs; repairing appliances; painting and refurbishing projects.
- Assists in the execution of the preventative maintenance program.
- Performs carpet and hard surface floor maintenance.
- Performs deep cleaning and resident suite ‘make ready' rooms as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or Equivalent.
- One-year job related experience preferred.
