WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Operations Data Specialist is a member of the Chemical Operations team and will work closely with our production, warehouse, and bulk operations teams to ensure ERP transactions are completed in an accurate and timely manner and that necessary records are properly retained.This team member will update and maintain production and cost reports and is responsible for overseeing the management of change process for procedures and other controlled documents within the operations department. This team member is responsible for maintaining the agenda, meeting minutes, and action items for teams associated with the Chemical Operations Department and assists with generation and maintenance of audit documentation for certifications such as SQF. The duties of the Operations Data Specialist require an individual to be strong on documentation, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

SAFETY:

·Adhere to all safety policies and guidelines; is accountable for their personal safety and the safety of their co-workers.

PRODUCTION SUPPORT:

·Collect hard copies of batch records from the production teams daily to enter them into the ERP system and scan/file as necessary:

oProduction data should be processed in D365 through the RAF stage within 2 business days of being physically completed.

oCosts for batch orders should be verified and they should be “Ended” within 5 business days of being physically completed.

·Assist the Production and Warehouse Managers, as needed, with BOM journal transactions associated with product conversions in the ERP system.

·Communicate with the Warehouse Manager daily to determine if there are raw materials or packaging that need to be “received” into the ERP system.These transactions and scanning/filing of documentation should be completed within 24 hours of physical receipt.

·Assist the warehouse team with Finished Goods Put Away transactions and license plate printing throughout each day, as time allows.When these transactions are completed, send an email to the Warehouse Manager stating which batch orders have been processed.

·Communicate with the Bulk Operations Manager daily to determine if there are bulk raw material or product transactions that need to be made in the ERP system.Complete the transactions and scan/file documentation as needed.

·Update and maintain production and cost reports as requested.

·Assist with action item tracking for inspections associated with the Chemical Operations Department.

PROCEDURES AND MANAGEMENT OF CHANGE:

·Oversee the management of change for procedures and other controlled documents associated with the Operations department.

·Ensure the company portal links and hard copies of procedures, forms, and other controlled documents are kept updated with the most current versions.

·Issue, track completion, and retain records of Spot Trainings that are needed for the Chemical Operations Department.

·Assist the chemical operations team with development, updating, and formatting of procedures, forms, and training documents for the department.

OPERATIONS SAFETY REVIEW COMMITTEE (ORSC):

·Coordinate the meeting schedule and agenda for the OSRC and take minutes of the meetings.

OTHER:

·Perform duties required to comply with SQF standards and other regulatory requirements.

·Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

YOUR MUST HAVES:

·Must be 18 years of age or older.

·High School Diploma or GED.

·Places high value on safety.

·Self-motivated and ability to execute with minimal direction.

·Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·Excellent organizational skills.

·Proficient in Microsoft Office.

·Ability to learn how to accurately perform transactions and navigate within ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).

WHAT WE PREFER YOU HAVE:

·Two or more years of related work experience.

·Experience working in ERP systems, particularly D365.

OUR ENVIRONMENT:

This position is based out of our North Little Rock, AR facility. It is an office environment with a controlled temperature and a low noise level. You may be required to stand, walk, sit, use fingers and hands, reach outward, and reach above shoulder.
